  29. i've felt a need for this sort of thing for a long time, myself.
  30. the ULTIMATE Cool But Hard As Hell suggestion: Integrate it into DPaint
  31. 3/4.
  32. This HAS been done before; there was a program that let you do animation in
  33. DP2, which had no animation capabilities.
  34. As an artist and a programmer, i can tell you that it's a real pain drawing
  35. pictures designed for intense copperlists. (for instance, i have a small
  36. program that throws up one of two built-in pictures during my boot, with
  37. copperlists on them; the images are only 4 bitplanes but have 40-50 colors
  38. displayed, counting some duplicates.)
  39. Of course, i also realize that this would be a real pain in the arse to
  40. DO...
  41. ...maybe i should just suggest this one to EA, when i send them the letter
  42. telling them all the problems with DP4's implementation (mainly that
  43. horrible sluggish palette and range requestor...)
