- Funny you should mention this... a friend of mine has just started work on
- such a program. I too have long looked for such a utility and so I proposed
- it to him as a 'beginners project' since he was looking for something to do :)
- If you have any suggestions as far as features go, mail me and I'll pass them
- along to him. So far he's implementing the basic features such as point and
- click, RGB adjuster, several different spread algorithms (as you probably
- know.. it looks very ugly if you do a standard spread over a large area with a
- limited number of colors.. eg blues going to red over the entire screen. So
- we use additional algorithms for intermixing the colors.. I'm sure you know
- what I mean). Umm. as far as output goes.. various ways.. actual copperlists
- with the wait's in them (color register user specifiable of course!), straight
- color lists etc. I'll let you know as soon as it's done! (don't worry, I'll
- be helping him along over the rough edges so that it doesn't carry on forever
- :-)
