- The 'fancy hardware', specifically, is either a Video Toaster ($2000) or
- a SuperGen Genlock ($300) ... the SuperGen can be software-controlled,
- like the VT, but it is limited to fading video and graphics. A slideshow
- can be automated using amigavision (or some oter authoring software) by
- calling up your graphics via keypresses (or mouse clicks) and have the
- SuperGen fade up your particular graphic(s) on top of incoming video
- (just like CNN) :) To do this you need the authjoring software to be able
- to execute DOS commands, and compile the software included with the
- supergen. Mail me if you need more info!
