  23. Let's be reasonable here.  If you are unfamilliar with NT, fine, but it looks
  24. as though it will finally emcompass most of the things that have made Amiga
  25. users proud and/or arrogant for the last several years.  Unfortunately (or
  26. fortunately, for us multi-platform people) it goes beyond that in terms
  27. of security, networking, and memory protection.

  29. I'd love to see NT eventually make it to the Amiga, but that would happen
  30. only long after the Mac, which will be some time after the MIPS.

  32. Although Bill Gates claimed he would develop for any operating system with
  33. 1000000 installed systems (well, I heard he claimed that, so sue me), now
  34. that the Amiga has better than three times that I still don't even see 
  35. something as basic as Works.  I guess there's always MS-BASIC :-)

  37. Let's face it, it would be impossible to port AmigaDOS to PC-Compatible
  38. hardware, so maybe if we're luck Windows NT will someday make it to
  39. Amiga hardware.  But don't hold your breath.
