  18. Try cross connecting RTS-CTS as well - the program may be using hardware flow
  19. control. (Hmm.. that's often called '7 wire', so there are probably a couple
  20. more.. try cross connecting DSR and DTR,  or maybe linking CTS to DSR at each
  21. end, if that doesn't work...

  23. Probably the best bet is to look in a cable catalog and see what they do :-).
  24. Many of them list which pins are connected to which.
