  18. Most European game programmers want to do the greatest whiz-bang software
  19. possible, so they tend to be pretty lax in following CBMs programming
  20. guidelines.  When new hardware or OS versions come out, such software tends
  21. to self destruct.  This is NOT CBMs problem or doing.  It is incumbent upon
  22. the software authors to make their programs conform to minimum standards so
  23. that their programs do not break with new OS versions or new hardware.  CBM
  24. can only prevent such probs from their end, not from the programming end. 
  25. Oh, well... wild and wooley programmers HAVE been warned many times.  Some
  26. STILL seem not to have gotten the message.
