I have a question to pose that may be a FAQ - but I haven't seen any
references to it for awhile... If it is, I apologize...

Anyway, when I change the default fonts, overscan mode, etc. with
preferences in WB2.05, I get the standard requester:
"To reset Workbench Screen, Please close all windows, except drawers".
when I boot up...the message disappears after booting has been
completed (which makes sense since the window the bootup messages are
displayed in is killed then, satisfying the requester happily...).

I understand why the requester isn't satisfied until booting has been
completed, but I am wondering if there is some way to disable the
requester.  I want to be able to change some of the system defaults,
but at the same time, the requester makes the boot sequence seem so
"unprofessional"...

If anyone can offer any advice, I'd love to hear about it.  PLEASE,
address all replies to [e-mail]..  If you just reply
to this message, there is a fairly good chance I won't be able to tell
where it
came from...
