- try the following:
- 1.) boot your 3000.
- 2.) insert a unformatted quality HD-disk (e.g. maxell, sony, tdk,...)
- 3.) format it. (format drive df0: name test ffs noicons)
- It should take about twice the time a format normally takes|
- The trick is: do not insert a DD-disk before you do the above| 2.04
- doesn't notice this change correctly| Use HD-Fixer from fish 690 for
- solving this bug|
- when everything is ok, you should have a 1760 K disk|
- If not, try to get a formatted HD-disk from a friend, reset your 3000,
- insert the disk and type info|
- If the disk is not displayed as 1760 k disk, then i think you don't have
- a HD-drive, go and get one||
- But be sure to get the A3015, (a chinon drive especially for C=)|
