  11. Well, for the first time (in 7 yfears!) I have a hardware problem.  I 
  12. have an A1000 with a Phoenix expansion chassis on it.  In the Phoenix, I 
  13. have a dataflyer SCSI interface, and plugged onto the bus extender of the 
  14. Phoenix I have a Minimegs 2 meg memory expansion.

  16. This arrangement has worked perfectly from the very first.

  18. In my zeal to never leave good enough alone, I bought an A2052 2 meg 
  19. card, and pulled the Minimegs off the bus extender.  With the memory card 
  20. in the expansion chassis, the system won't boot - in fact, the screen 
  21. won't even light up.

  23. With the memory card alone in the expansion chassis, the system boots and 
  24. sees the memory...  it even let me put the Minimegs on the bus extender, 
  25. and for a little while, I had nearly 5 megs of memory on my little A1000!

  27. Any ideas anyone?  Does anyone else out there have/use a Phoenix card 
  28. cage?
