- I am having problems with my new A3000 / FAX setup. I have an A3000 with an
- A2232 Multi-serial board and 6 (yes, six) Supra FAX Modems. I am having two
- seperate problems.
-
- 1) Software: GPFax, a great program, but it will not allow more than one
- copy of itself to be run at once. I have tried filezapping
- to change all identifying names, but it still finds itself.
-
- 2) Hardware: A2232 board seems to work fine, but it seems to crash the
- A3000 quite regularily with a 8000 0004 Guru. Usually during
- hard disk access. (Do they interfere?) Can I up the HD
- filesystem priority? Any hardware jumpers? Other ideas?
-
- Any help would be greatly appreciated. All hardware and software is
- brand-new, A3000-25/100, A2232, A1960 Monitor, 1 Supra v.32bis connected to
- standard serial port. 5 Supra FAX Modem Plus's connected to A2232.
- 2.0 loads (kickstarts) from HD, and reboots to start.
- I am trying to operate all six FAXmodems at once to "blast FAX"
- time-sensitive documents to a large group of clients before the information
- is out of date. Thanks in advance, EMail greatly appreciated.
