- If you have an Amiga 500, 1000 or 2000 you can get an IO board that was
- described as kit-ware in the Feb 91 issue of Amazing Computing/Amiga.
- This board allows an easy upgrade to 4 extra serial ports and 4 extra
- parallel ports. The kit includes drivers with source code. The board
- utilizes a lazy port address decoding on these machines (not on the
- 3000). It utilizes 6552, twin ACIA for the serial and 6522, VIA for
- the parallel ports. MIDI rate is managed with an extra oscillator.
