- I recently had my machine crash the other day when trying to write a file
- to one partition of my hard drive. This partition is fairly full,
- so this new file may have been too big for the space left, but I'm
- not sure. Anyway, when I re-started my computer and tried to mount
- this partition (the other two are okay) I get a couple notices
- saying:
- Volume NAME has a Read Write Error
- And then after I cancel that twice, I get a
- Key 38675 bad header type.
-
- I can still access te files on the partition after all this, but the last one I
- tried to write to it is still there with 0 bytes. Attempts to
- delete it tell me that the disk is not validated.
-
- Typing in info correctly reports the size of the partition, but no
- other information is given.
-
- What do I do to correct the problem?
-
- My system is Amiga 1000, with a 105 MB Quantum on a Flash Card in a
- Toolbox and a 1MB C.Ltd card on the pass-thru.
-
- Thanks a million!
