  17. I can't vouch for that particular setup, but I do have one similar that
  18. works.  I'm using a Slingshot, A2091 and a Quantum 280 hard drive.  The
  19. only thing being powered externally is the HD itself - the A2091 (which
  20. also has 2 megs of RAM onboard) works fine on the 500's power supply.  On a
  21. side note here though, a simple Supra hard card wouldn't work on the 500's
  22. power supply (with NO RAM yet!), so I had to power it externally.  Sold it
  23. to a friend... :)
