  14. I have a problem.  Below is the configuration of my Amiga:
  15.     Amiga 3000
  16.     6MB RAM
  17.     50MB HDD
  18.     880KB FDD
  19.     NEC 3D Multisync Monitor.
  20.  
  21. What my problem is in increasing my RAM from 2MB to 6MB, somehow my floppy disk
  22. drive (FDD) is playing up.  That is, the RAM seems alright after powering up,
  23. but the FDD light is always on even after rebooting.  It must be said I
  24. installed the RAM myself (the warranty has long since gone), but I did pretty
  25. much what the handbook has, step by step.  I checked the wiring of the FDD and
  26. it seems correct and there are no error messages and the like.

  28. Has anyone got any ideas?  Otherwise, I might have to take it into the computer
  29. shop (Maxwells in Abbotsford, Vic., Australia) and I'm a bit nervous about
  30. that.
