- Hello,
- I have the following configuration:
-
- Amiga 2000 w/ GVP controller
- 1 Internal HD
- 1 Internal floppy Drive
- 1 External Drive
- AMAX Cartridge with MAc external drive.
-
- My question is how many external HD's can I hook up ?
-
- I believe I can have only four floppies, and 7 SCSI devices,
- since the eight is taken by the controller/cpu itself (wrong ?)
-
- So currently I have df0: and df3: as working floppies,
- df1: reserved for the 5 1/4 inch bay, and df2: taken by Amax
- and Mac drive.
-
- I assume that the partitions on the internal HD do not
- count as multiple devices, only the physical device matters.
-
- So I should be able to hook up two more external drives to
- my system ?
-
- Have I missed something ? Got it wrong ?
-
- Any help would be greatly appreciated.
-
- Thanks.
