- I recently purchased a Mattel Powerglove for $20 at the local K-Mart.
- I built the cable described in the 1st issue of AC Tech and was
- disappointed to find that it did not work. After checking the
- glove on a Nintendo (it worked OK), I tried the cable and glove on
- a friends Amiga. It worked, but I thought the cable had a loose
- connection. After making a new cable, it still would not work on
- my machine (A2000). While in the process of diagnosing the problem,
- (I won't go into any more detail) I removed my GVP 3001 accelerator
- card and lo and behold, the glove WORKED!!!
-
- Even though the article mentions accelerators and A3000s, the
- software provided does not work with an accelerated Amiga. Is there
- a newer version than what came on disk with AC's Tech? I could
- try to fix the software myself, but I don't have a Modula 2 compiler.
- Any hints on a newer version of the software would be appreciated.
