- I just picked up a SupraFaxModem V.32bis on Friday. I issued the ATI3 command
- to check out the ROM version and got this: V1.200-C TR14-Jxxx-001 032
- Is this the latest and greatest ROM that everyone seems to be waiting for?
-
- Has anyone had problems with data compression. MNP5 and BTLZ don't seem to
- be doing anything for me. I downloaded a 20k ASCII file at 9600 baud with and
- without BTLZ compression and both took 23 seconds. I'm using Term 2.2b which
- is set at 57,600 baud and RTC/CTS. My serial preferences are set at 31,250
- and RTC/CTS. I'v also tried the BaudBandit.device.
-
- Also, when I connect to the HP-UX system here at the University all downloads
- fail with MNP4 or 5 enabled. When MNP4 or 5 are active text screens are
- updated in spurts.
-
- I bought the Stand Alone version so I didn't get the cable and Amiga
- instructions. Are there any magic Amiga Only settings? I assume that my cable
- supports hardware handshaking because BaudBandit.device says it won't do
- anything without it.
-
- Thanks in advance,
