  12. What is Commodore up to???
  13. There have been a lot of rumours about new Amiga models. One of them is a model
  14. called the Amiga 4000.
  15. What will it be like? Will it stand against the other brands?

  17. What I will write here from now on is NOT invented by me... It might b
  18. a bad joke from another person, but it's not likely, since the same information
  19. has come to me in many different ways...

  21. The Amiga 4000!
  22. This new computer will be a very upgraded version of the A3000. On the
  23. motherboard there will be found a 68040 processor, will a LOT of power.
  24. Various coprocessors will aid the CPU, among them the new blitter processor
  25. (3-4 times as fast as the one in the A500 and A3000 (Doesn't know the name))
  26. The Amber cip is installed in order to get a steady picture.
  27. A new chip called Lobster will replace the old music-chip. It has a capacity
  28. of producing 8 channels of 16-bit-sound.
  29. The AA- chipset will get you better graphics. 18-bit palette and a lot of new
  30. resolutions (for instance 320x200 256 colours and 1280x200 32 colours)

  32. How much of this is truth??? Any?? None? I neither hope nor believe that, but
  33. who knows??
  34. Hopefully Commodore will answer for themselves!!
