  21.     I think your criticisms may be a bit premature.  DMI do not
  22. consider themselves to be making spurious statements.  I've had
  23. some long talks with them about the theory behind the way they're
  24. designing this stuff and what it realistically can do and, in con-
  25. junction with some of the demo stuff I've seen, I think their
  26. way of implementing it IS the way of the future and will in a very
  27. real sense, assuming they get SOME SUPPORT, threaten and perhaps
  28. supersede the $180,000+ systems.  So instead of being so harsh
  29. in your criticisms, why not go talk to them?  And encourage developers
  30. to get some software onto this beast.  It is really slick.  Then all
  31. of us have a chance at getting SGI power for under $18,000.  If we
  32. don't support developers like DMI, we'll continue to dream of winning
  33. the lottery indefinitely.

  36. video signals in NTSC *and* PAL.   Hmmm, 24-bit video without a
