- In Most Cases [C= talking about new products] it can do more harm then good

- Sometimes saying nothing can do more harm than good

- At one time Commodore revealed everything they were upto prematurely, this
- was harmful when they couldn't make good on their promises. Then Commodore
- decided not to release info on new products until they were ready. This also
- proves harmful since users have no idea what Commodore is up to, if anything!
-
- Commodore has to be a little more open with the direction they are headed,
- at the same time they should keep their policy of not revealing too much info.
-
- A good example of this is with the rumoured AA chipset. We have read 100s
- of reports about the AA chipset. We don't know if this chipset is for real
- or if it isn't. We also don't know if Commodore is even working on a new
- graphics chipset or if they even plan too. Most users are frustrated not
- knowing if Commodore is going to improve this part of the Amiga or if they
- should switch to another system.
-
- Commodore could have at least said that better graphics were in the future
- of the Amiga. While this wouldn't tell as exact specs or release dates it would
- at least put confidence in users that Commodore is indeed working on improving
- the Amigas standard graphics.
-
- BJ>Also, bear in mind that there is a big difference between "We feel ..."
- BJ>and "Commodore will eventually release." What we 'feel' in engineering
- BJ>is not always in line with the overall business plan/picture.
