  12. I have an AMIGA 2500 which boots from the usual 40 MEG hard disk
  13. and I have a Fujitsu 1 GIG disk on which I do most of my work.
  14. A few minutes ago the AMIGA crashed while deleting some files from
  15. one of the two partitions of the hard disk (I was try to run a
  16. communications program at the same time - multitasking isn't everything
  17. that its cracked up to be :( .)  On rebooting the system doesn't seems
  18. to see the Fujitsu drive anymore.  In particular, if I execute INFO
  19. it just says ``Not a DOS disk.''  If I run the HDToolbox program,
  20. it says Drive Type Unknown.  After booting an icon for the disk does 
  21. appear, but the name has been garbled - it say FDH0:_[VQ instead of
  22. the more usual FDH1.1 and FDH1.2.
  23.  
  24. Please advise me what exactly is likely to be wrong and what I might
  25. be able to do about it.  Thank you very much in advance.
