- Can you give a few more details, like the drive make and model and the
- tape you're using (DC600A, DC6150, etc.)?

- It sounds like the tape drive is using a lower-capacity encoding standard
- like QIC-120 by default and you'd like to use the higher-capacity standard
- like QIC-150. If it's similar to my A3070 SCSI tape drive, you'll need to
- send a SCSI MODE_SELECT command to make the drive use the higher-capacity
- standard. It's pretty simple with BTNTape, but a tech manual for the
- drive that describes the particular MODE_SELECT needed would be very
- helpful.
