  17. How about GIF?  There are several PD/shareware programs available that can
  18. convert most IFF pix to GIF.  If your Mac app can understand or convert GIF
  19. images that should solve your prob.  Some scanners save their output in IMG
  20. format which can sometimes be used on different computers.  PCs, STs, and
  21. some Amiga programs, such as PageStream, can use IMG pix... don't know
  22. about the Mac but it might be worth checking.
