- The FC24 is not fast enough to animate on. It is intended for still
- pictures. It is full 24 bit RGB. It has four resolutions:
- 1024x482
- 768x482
- and uh.. a couple smaller ones I can't remember. If the smaller
- ones are used you can have two images loaded into its buffers at once
- and flip between them. The board has 2 MEG of RAM mounted on it, this
- RAM cannot be added to your system RAM. The mode most people use (I
- guess. since it's the mode I use the most) is 768x482, thus full overscan
- hi-res. Very clean, very brilliant colors, gorgeous to look at but since
- it takes a couple seconds to load a picture into the FC it's really
- too slow for any kind of animation.
-
- Due to the way it interfaces to the Amiga (RGB pass thru, the card
- itself eats one Zorro II slot), you can display a full 24 bit picture
- behind the workbench for the ultimate "dropcloth" effect. No
- system performance degredation whatsoever while the FC24 is on.
- You can also set it up to use a 2nd monitor with your normal Amiga
- display on your primary monitor, or you can use the one-monitor setup,
- your choice (based on your budget/needs/desires/etc.).
