- It is not dependant on the memory amount how many colors you can use.
- It's a question of bandwidth how many pixel data per second can be fed to
- the video circuitry. And this is limited to 4 bits (bitplanes) in the
- high resolution, giving you 16 colors. In Lores you can get up to
- 6 bitplanes, giving you the HAM or Extra-halfbrite modes.
