- There is a scanner called the "PowerScan2" or something like that which is
- advertised in the UK Amiga mags. It supposedly has good software with it
- that handles grayscaling quite nicely. I can't say whether this software
- would work with your GI scanner but it might be worth a try if you can find
- it. I've made inquiries in the US (the have a US distributor) but have not
- gotten any info or encouragement so far. I'm looking for an inexpensive
- B&W hand scanner that can scan B&W photos that can be printed to a PS laser
- printer for newsletter work. Problem is, many such scans come out so
- grainy that the person in the photo is barely recognizable. I'd like
- better quality but am not sure how to go about setting things up.
