  27. I think thats a bit hypercritical. You say you don't care if Ken has ripped
  28. off code from someone else, but will call Excelsior a rip-off just because
  29. it looks like C-Net.

  31. DLG Pro reminds many of my IBM users of Opus BBS at first glance, but that
  32. doesn't make DLG a rip-off of it.

  34. Besides, this isn't the first time the look-and-feel of C-Net has been
  35. copied. It's happened before on the C-64/128 for many of the same reasons.
  36. The authors of the look-alike loved the setup and hated Ken's coding
  37. practices so they did their own and made it better.

  39. As much as I don't care for the method of storage used by C-Net and
  40. Excelsior from what I have seen of the Excelsior Demo it looks to be a much
  41. better designed BBS. With any luck Excelsior will take off and replace
  42. C-Net in the market. Ken needs a good financial shake up to get him to
  43. clean up his act.
