- I have both an older HST (14.4k) and a new SupraFaxModem. The Supra is
- slower than the HST at flat-out transmission of compressed data (downloads)
- but is generally a faster, smoother modem when used for reading or writing
- messages on a remote system. The SupraFAX is a great little modem, and I am
- very happy with it. But it does not get the throughput that the HST does.
