- What does the JR-Comm dialer window report when it gives up
- a dialing attempt? Is the modem confusing the ringing signal
- with busy or voice ones? The tones that different phone systems
- make are different. I can tell if I have dialed the same voice
- number twice by the way that the ring sounds on the line.
- The modem may be unable to handle the subtlties beyond a certain
- point. Does your problem occur with certain BBSs and never with
- others. If so this might confirm my suspicion.
