- Here is something that I posted to the C-Net Amiga support BBS this morning.
- This message was removed when I called later. Apperantly Mr. C-Net is not
- only a theif, he feels guilty about it or he doesn't want people to know
- the truth. I have worked with C-Net for so long that I feel people should
- know the truth about C-Net Amiga which is he steals other peoples code. Not
- copies it, steals it. Much of C-Net Amiga came from the blood and sweat of
- Fred Fish and the people who submit programs with source to Mr. Fish.
-
- I own C-Net Amiga, and posted this under an alias on the C-Net support BBS.
- Whats worst about the C-Net author, he steals code and does not understand
- how it works. Thats why the C-Net Arexx interface always printed Command
- Returned 30 all over. Buggy code right off Fred Fish disk #1. The C-Net "C"
- icon is the same size as the icon produced by "iconify.arc". Leo L. Schawb
- allows people to use his source if the programmer gives him credit. C-Net
- does not acknowledge Leo in any files distributed with C-Net Amiga or in the
- manual.
-
- People are still waiting for UseNet support built into C-Net Amiga. Will he
- have to steal Matt Dillon's code to get this next major project finished?

- Hmmm... can we say, "CNet Rip-Off"?
-
- Geez.
-
- He does have some good ideas for the control panel and the visual editor. I
- am copying THEM right now. Fair IS fair.

- Rip off Ken? Boy, thats odd coming from you? 90% of Cnet is a rip of
- something else? What about Steve Drew's aux handler? I have been in contact
- with him and he is probably going to sue you. Your a thief. Not even a
- smart one, at least take the guys copyright notice out, anyone with v1.99 and
- below can easily see that you have someone else's copywritten code in there.
- Or how about the A-Rexx, Fred Fish disk #1. Or how about the 90% of the MCI
- code, a rip from the people that worked on the 64 version for YOU, or how
- about the Screen Iconfier with the 'C'? Some more code stolen. Vote is
- ripped off of Tag, noise's in the conference are ripped off of Solarius
- (Galactic Comm), and someone else wrote that for you. So dont be telling
- people that these guy's are a rip. Hell, they support people far better than
- you can. You totally screwed over all your users with 2.0 upgrade. You
- crippled your door programmers with that god-awful so-called 'C' interface.
- Man, you really have some nerve. Most of the stuff you write is ideas from
- your users, so dont give me that holier-than-thou attitude. The whole
- message structure of Cnet is from the Apple version of T-Net, or doesnt that
- count since you ripped it a long time ago? Or how about Skypix code? Or how
- about the ARexx interface, another Skyline rip, it even says it your manual.
- Can we say "Skyline" rip off?
-
- EXCELSIOR! was designed because of all the shit you give to your users. From
- what I am hearing now, you are really destroying CNet, can't figure out how
- to make things unlimited without making it a hack? I tell you, that "xx"
- file for the XPR's is a perfect example of your work. Can we say 100%
- residentable code Ken? Or how about the shell? You just took it and cut &
- pasted it, the damn thing doesnt even work like a shell. Or how about the
- stack 40000 for each port. Geesh. EXCELSIOR! is 1000% better written, it is
- designed for someone who likes CNet, agreed, but a rip? I doubt it. I hope
- your users will come to understand just how you "operate", so I would take
- some time before you go criticizing others.
-
- This message will probably never be seen by anyone because I know your
- character. But it was worth a chance.
