  17. I have written a term program that uses pre-scrolling to speed up displays.  
  18. It is a "2.0 only" program and will be available sometime near the end of 
  19. september.  I got the idea from VLT, and improved upon it.  My terminal 
  20. supports Full Ansi while using pre-scroll. (some animations may confuse it.)
  21. It supports up to a full screen of pre-scroll and uses the Amiga OS 
  22. console.device to boot.  (This means as the system gets better so does the 
  23. term program.)  Some other things it supports:
  24.   o Full clipboard support (cut and paste, in term window or chat window)
  25.   o A rich set of Rexx commands (still growing) for custom setup or 
  26.     login scripts... whatever you want really.
  27.   o Xpr's Fully supported.  The term will scan Libs: and stick all xpr's 
  28.     found in a sub-menu, making it easy to pick.
  29.   o Asyncronous. EVREYTHING is asyncronous, settings windows requesters
  30.     (uses standard ASL, again for future enhanement support). And information
  31.     requesters.  You can have as many open as you want, while typing in the 
  32.     terminal window.
  33.   o Very font compliant.  Will support any font for windows and screen. and
  34.     any fixed-width for the actual terminal display. (they are selectable
  35.     seperately from the settings windows.)

  37.   o FAST, fast, fast.  no term yet has out-done mine in speed trials.

  39. I was keeping this in-house only, but it seems that it will probably be 
  40. packaged with a new BBS coming out soon, Excelsior BBS, which seems to be very 
  41. powerfull and kinda fits in with my term (or the other way around, whichever)
