- Okay, I went to fire up Audio Engineer to look at this before I said anything
- I could not back up and found (to my surprise) that AE caused JRComm to hang
- up. Then it shut down so I *still* could not check on this, but as I recall
- (ain't it sad, I was working with the digitizer yesterday and I *still* can't
- recall what I was doing) the way to change the sample rate with AudioMaster
- (same thing as AEPII) without manglnig the sound effect is to load the effect
- to the main screen and then select the tune waveform option. What you then
- do is to enter the value you want for Cycles Per Second (it is a lot easier to
- type the number than try to slide the indicator) and hit return. The software
- will automatically change the cycles to the nearest value it accepts. the
- next step is to hit the RESAMPLE gadget and wait until it is done. BTW you
- will need to indicate the range of the sample you want to change before you
- can do this or you will get a requester box reminding you to do so.

- I hate to ask, but are you using a legit copy? I thought the docs were pretty
- clear on this. IF you haven't been using a legit copy then do yourself (and
- the designers) a favour and go out and buy a copy. There is a lot of power to
- AMIII (even more in AMIV) and you really won't get the full possibilities
- without the docs. If you do have a legit copy, I apologize for the implied
- slights to you. Regardless, hope this helps and that you find worknig with
- sound on your Amiga as fascinating as the rest of us! :)
