- Last I had heard (from him), he wasn't doing too well. This was several
- weeks ago.

- Well :). Our system was down for the past few days (week?), so I had no
- other way to spend my free time than to work on my old mod projects... I
- choose to add to the techno one. At this point, I'm pretty impressed with
- myself (heh). A lot of it sounds generic now, but if I were to listen to
- the completed mod for the first time, I'm sure I'd like it better :).
- I'm working on filling up all the patterns (well, 64 of 'em, since I use
- PT1.1b)... and my top priority is to get it to the nets before I move in
- about a week. I've already run out of good ideas for effects & stuff, so
- most of the remaining patterns will probably be spent on one thing: Making
- the mod longer so it doesn't end quite so soon...and I can't concentrate
- on changing the pace that often (what I'm saying is that towards the end it
- will lose variety... but it'll still fit into the Techno genre, IMHO :).
- Also, sample space has become a serious problem for me. I could add variety
- if I had more samples to play with, but I'm running out of ways to add 'em.
-
- A fair warning: I've already taken the position of "Who cares how large it
- is as long as it sounds fair?"... the mod is already over 300K big... but
- after I cut around a bit it could drop to 285K or so, even after I add the
- remaining 15 patterns or so... bored stiff yet? :)
