- Sorry, Ed, but I think you've made an error. The original poster is
- asking about a *digital sample* editor, not an editor/librarian for
- synthesizers. Samples can be transmitted via MIDI using the "MIDI Sample
- Dump Standard."

- A program such as the Macintosh's "Sound Designer" falls into this
- category. On the Amiga, there's MIDI Sample Wrench by dissidents, Synthia
- Professional by The Other Guys, and perhaps others. It's possible that
- Audiomaster IV by Oxxi will work with an external sampler, but I'm not
- sure. Sample editors on the Amiga tend to focus on the internal 8-bit sound
- chip, not MIDI instruments.
