  22.     Sorry, Ed, but I think you've made an error.  The original poster is
  23. asking about a *digital sample* editor, not an editor/librarian for
  24. synthesizers.  Samples can be transmitted via MIDI using the "MIDI Sample
  25. Dump Standard."

  27.     A program such as the Macintosh's "Sound Designer" falls into this
  28. category.  On the Amiga, there's MIDI Sample Wrench by dissidents, Synthia
  29. Professional by The Other Guys, and perhaps others.  It's possible that
  30. Audiomaster IV by Oxxi will work with an external sampler, but I'm not
  31. sure.  Sample editors on the Amiga tend to focus on the internal 8-bit sound
  32. chip, not MIDI instruments.
