- What you're looking for is referred to as an editor/librarian. There are quite
- a few options open to you here depending on your configuration. You can
- purchase a generic version such as Dr.T's Xor that handles multiple
- synthesizers or versions specific to a single synth class. According to my
- Calgary Software-by-Mail catalogue, Xor runs about $240 CDN and individual
- editor/librarians run in the $135 CDN range.

- Besides Dr. T, the other big name in this area is Sound Quest. There's also a
- PD editor/librarian known as glib available (check archie to find a source for
- this). Various editor/librarians for specific synthesizers have also appeared
- on the Fish disks.
