- I still use the Mimetics Sampler, but the software is kind of buggy, now.
- I liked playing the samples from a MIDI keyboard.
- The IFF FORM 8SVX has ATAK and RLSE chunks for volume envelopes. There
- should be an FMOD chunk-type for frequency envelopes. A standard for
- 16-bit samples. DMCS read ATAKs, at least, and offered note types.
- There's a few things missing from SMUS, too, like more tuplets, but my
- problem is with Amiga music programs that don't even know the IFF specs.
- They _have_ to know the 8SVX format, and should know the SMUS format.
