- Ryan, I've got WordPerfect and Final Copy. You should get excellent results
- with the Deskjet or any Pref printer. I like Final Copy alot. It has a nice
- graphic interface, the speller and thesaurus (with word definition) are nice.
- I like the ability to scale graphics. However, you won't be able to:
- 1. Change the headers or footers between pages
- 2. Create a table of contents
- 3. Create a bibliography
- 4. Create an index
- 5. Import another file into the middle of your document
- Most reviews I've seen for Final Copy or Prowrite cover glitz not fundamental
- word processing issues. The best word processor for the Amiga is still
- WordPerfect. I've wanted to switch my wife, the writer, from WordPerfect to
- Final Copy. I can't because she depends on footnotes. I've used word
- processing programs on IBM mainframes, S100-CP/M, IBM PC's, Macs and the Amiga.
- The best is Microsoft Word. The Amiga doesn't have anything that will touch it
- yet. Final Copy has alot of potential, and if you just write letters or simple
- term papers or reports it may work for you. BTW, MSWord is alot more expensive
- than Final Copy. For serious WP use WordPerfect. For fun stuff use Final Copy
