- RE: DSS-8 from GVP...
-
- I'm not sure if you can get the magazine, however, the August issue of
- Amazing Computing has a review of DSS-8. The reviewer sounded reasonably
- favorable of the product. It supports IFF, Sonix, and RAW(the type
- generally used by 'trackers) sound file formats. It has a built-in
- Soundtracker clone. The 'tracker allows you to enter notes from the Amiga
- or a MIDI keyboard.
- The reviewer finishes:
-
- "
- The DSS 8 is a solid product, easy to use, yet powerful, with
- the ability to record 8-bit samples, edit them, and then use those
- samples to create music. The manual is well done, with plenty of
- illustrations and useful information. If you are looking for an
- 8-bit sampler for your Amiga and also want to create music, consider
- the DSS 8.

- Hope this helps....
