- I am thinking of hooking up my UNIX PC to my sun workstation
- Reason-the UNIX PC is in my office and the workstation is in the lab.
- I need to be able to do system admin to the workstations. (note
- the plural.) The college is not going to spend any money on this
- venture, so if the software costs I would have to spread for it.
- Anyway, I have MacLayers for my Mac and would like something like
- that to connect to the sun with. I need some way to have at least 3
- windows (or sessions) running on the sun and beable to see them all
- on the UNIX PC, preferably in a windowing style program (like MacLayers).
- the labe is Ethernet, but I don't have TCP/ip for the UNIX
- PC, nor a ethernet card or spare transiever.
- Any ideas? Thanks!!!
