- The message server that will serve the clients is on a sun4 737280 bytes
- large. Instead of messages you would start messagess, which just start
- messages with a -S option, so I don't think you get impressive less
- memory usage (but the load should drop).

- I got this to work yesterday, so your timing is perfect. I've got some
- problems like; messages takes forever to startup (but when it is done,
- you don't notice any delays), vuis/t dumps core, and cuis/t gives an
- authorization failure. The latter may be caused by the new guardian I'am
- using. This new guardian seems to be necessary to use PC/Mac Mail.

- Someone of special projects gave me the sources for the new message
- servers and EzMail. EzMail can be used to replace VUI on Unix, I should
- compile on a PC with stacks of FTP and LWP. I'am trying to convince the
- sources that PC-NFS is a good alternative. I only got the binaries of
- MacMail, but I haven't tried it yet.
- The message servers contained some AFS dependencies, which I removed.
-
- It certainly takes some work to get this all to work, but I'am very close.
