- American Robot Company became Cimflex which later bought or merged with
- Teknowledge. It is now Cimflex Teknowledge and is no longer making robots.
- They mainly do systems design and AI-factory applications. They were doing
- well through the mid-80's when the whole robotics industry crashed and burned.
- Not sure how they're doing today.
-
- The Merlin won some design awards and it is a pretty nice counterbalanced
- puma-like design. We have one - Pretty cheap if someone wants one. We have
- no use for it and we had some problems with the controller at one point.
-
- Try contacting Cimflex in Pittsburgh, PA (412) 787-3000
