  13. I'm interested in finding out about projects who have dealt with the
  14. following type of configuration...
  15.  
  16.     Distributed, Fault Tolerant Databases with Hot Standby.
  17.     Running on a Unix platform and using Unix sockets for
  18.     communication.
  19.  
  20. In particular I'm interested in performance figures and statistics for
  21. such configurations, e.g. the database holds 1Gb of data which has to
  22. be accessed in 1ms and if something goes wrong the standby can cut in
  23. in 10ms and so on.
