- I'm interested in finding out about projects who have dealt with the
- following type of configuration...

- Distributed, Fault Tolerant Databases with Hot Standby.
- Running on a Unix platform and using Unix sockets for
- communication.

- In particular I'm interested in performance figures and statistics for
- such configurations, e.g. the database holds 1Gb of data which has to
- be accessed in 1ms and if something goes wrong the standby can cut in
- in 10ms and so on.
