- If you are writing your own code, there is not need to get a PC BIOS for
- the V25.
-
- We are currently doing several boards in an embedded system running V25's.
- Our development tools are Boorland C++, MASM, and a free locator from NEC
- call LC70XXX . I have used the locator with Turbo C 2.0 as well. All it
- needs is an *.exe and a *.map file (detailed option in Turbo/Borland).
-
- Call the NEC hotline and ack for the floppy with NECLOC.EXE on it. The
- floppy is call LC70XXX, current version is 1.2 (as of last week) They
- will think you are crazy, but insist that they have it. It does not show
- up on their sheets, but the guy I talked to found the floppy. (I had
- the beta version in my hand when I called, and took several time to
- convince him that NEC developed it.)
-
- Good luck,
-
