  14. All of the pc's here are using a SUN 3 as a file server.
  15. The nfs and tcpip software we are using is Beame&Whiteside ver 2.3.

  17. Is it possible to cache the remote drive letters?
  18. I've tried several disk caches (pc-cache, hyperdisk, smartdrive4.0)
  19. and they all seem to intercept disk calls at a level below where
  20. B&W intercepts them. Thus the caches can't intercept calls
  21. to the remote drive letters.

  23. Do other pc networks (novell, lantastic etc) have this same problem?
  24. Is there a disk cache that can solve this problem?
