  22. Anyway, sounds like you have LWP v4.0. At the beginning of January the LWP
  23. people did a minor maintenance release that stomped on a few annoyances.
  24. This was one of them. LAN WorkPlace v4.01 does have some fonts that
  25. happily let you have 80 characters on a screen.

  30. Well, I can't comment on the documentation because I've never read it!
  31. However, the blame for the poor scroll speed (which I myself complained
  32. about to the LWP developers) lies mainly with Windows. The obvious
  33. solution is to implement configurable multi-line jump scrolling.
  34. Fortunately, they were way ahead of me on this one. I've seen our
  35. latest HP running and it positively sings along (and it does lots of
  36. other totally wicked new stuff too!).

  38. When will the next release of LWP be in the shops? I don't know. You would
  39. have to ask Novell. ;-)
