- I would like to thank all of the people who pointed me to TELNETD from
- Waterloo. It seems that everybody except me (and our PC consulting dept.)
- knew about it.
-
- My compliments to the developers. Unlike many network-related programs
- TELNETD is blessedly simple to install. And, it worked the first time!
- I haven't had a chance to test it extensively and when I did test it it
- was running on a 286-based system so it was painfully slow. But, for
- what our user wanted it is very nice. It would be nice if there was a
- way for it to recognize that you were trying to get to it from a PC and
- therefore allow more programs to be run remotely. But I'm not complaining.
-
- I'm thinking now I can run it at home and while at work pretend to be
- doing something when I'm actually cleaning up my hard disc. B-))
-
- Again, thanks to all who helped.
