  11. I would like to thank all of the people who pointed me to TELNETD from
  12. Waterloo.  It seems that everybody except me (and our PC consulting dept.)
  13. knew about it.

  15. My compliments to the developers.  Unlike many network-related programs
  16. TELNETD is blessedly simple to install.  And, it worked the first time!
  17. I haven't had a chance to test it extensively and when I did test it it
  18. was running on a 286-based system so it was painfully slow.  But, for
  19. what our user wanted it is very nice.  It would be nice if there was a
  20. way for it to recognize that you were trying to get to it from a PC and
  21. therefore allow more programs to be run remotely.  But I'm not complaining.

  23. I'm thinking now I can run it at home and while at work pretend to be
  24. doing something when I'm actually cleaning up my hard disc.  B-))
