- Greetings:
-
- I am experiencing a problem with getting NCSA telnet to work with a
- Dell 333p 386 33mhz machine.
-
- I am using an ibm token ring card, the ibmtoken software, and plain
- vanilla telnet. This same set up has worked on most clones I have
- used (treasure chest, dtk, alr, etc) without a hitch.
-
- I have tried slowing the machine down, disabling the shadow ram,
- disabling all the serial ports, booting with a barren bootable
- floppy disk, etc., with no luck.
-
- Any suggestions? I was somewhat appalled by the fact that none of
- the Dell technicians had heard of the internet, let alone NCSA software,
- so they have been of no help.
-
- Thank you.
-
- Eddie
