- I'm looking for a "pass-through" archie client that'll work in
- a firewalled network. (By "firewalled," I mean that only one
- system in our network is directly on the Internet, with packet
- filtering activated to allow only specified packet types to pass
- through to other hosts on the network.)
-
- We've implemented pass-through ftp and telnet, so users on other
- network hosts can access the outside world from their own
- systems, and would like to provide similar access to archie.
- (We know about accessing archie via e-mail, of course.)
-
- I presume that we could set up our own archie server locally
- if this is the only way to do what we want.
-
- Thanks.
