  15. We are having a slight problem with our tcp-ip system.  We are
  16. useing FTP softwares version of tcp-ip and also AT&T's version
  17. of enhanced win386 tcp-ip.  Recently we have experienced the following
  18. problem:

  20. During a successful telnet connect, a unix application program is
  21. executed. This program runs for a time.  However, at various times
  22. during the telnet session the line is dropped and the following
  23. message is received on the AT&T enhanced win386 tcp-ip side.

  25.     "telnet: can't ipop".
  26.  
  27. Could someone please tell me why this message pops up and how to
  28. fix the problem?
