  27. The group's primary task is development of a MIB for character stream devices
  28. such as terminals and printers. The group has three documents: Character MIB,
  29. RS-232-like MIB, and Parallel-printer-like MIB. Final drafts, dated Jan. 92,
  30. have been submitted for IESG and IAB approval as Proposed Standards to be
  31. published as RFCs.
